Harveys Woodworx is a South African woodwork studio crafting premium handmade cutting boards and fine wooden pieces for your home.
Our story
It all started with a home for Harvey.
Harvey is our beloved black-and-tan Dachshund, the proud face of our logo, and the entire reason this business exists.
When he needed a home of his own, the usual pet-shop options simply did not suit his low-riding, long-bodied frame. So we picked up some tools and built him a custom dog house from scratch.
That one project sparked a genuine passion for woodworking. Before long, the workshop became a place to experiment, learn and create—eventually growing into the handmade cutting boards, platters and fine wooden pieces we make today.
Every piece begins with the same care that went into making a home for our favourite supervisor.
